New Lebanese Wine: Come enjoy our new wine list featuring our newest Lebanese Red wine offering,”Le Prieure du Chateau Ksara”, 2010. This complex wine features Cabernet grapes as well as Carignan, Cinsault, and Morvedre grapes.
Chatueau Ksara, established by the Jesuit Father’s in 1857, perpetuated the tradition of fine European influenced wine making. The grapes are grown on the slopes Bekaa Valley at an average altitude of 3,600 feet (1100 meters). A wine that is borne from over 250 days of sunshine, the heat of the summer days is compensated by the freshness of the evenings, where a gentle and continuous breeze circulates all along the valley, dropping temperatures to 50 degrees Fahrenheit nightly. The different type of soil brings complexity to the wine. All vineyards are hand harvested at the winery and the grapes are hand sorted prior to crushing. Special pricing of only $32.00 per bottle and we recommend this wine with all lamb dishes and especially Tajines.
Sahara, let us feed your senses!
